This article analyzes communication as an essential skill for effective leadership. It is not about technical mastery of the codes or languages used to convey information, but rather how messages enable the establishment of trusting relationships to improve impact on people. To this end, I delve into the causes of the powerful effect of well-being and reciprocity that messages of acceptance, such as kindness, recognition, and collaboration, generate in human beings, thus ensuring the establishment of harmonious interpersonal relationships. In contrast, communication based on the exchange of messages of rejection, such as disrespect, threats, and imposition, is the main cause of conflictive relationships. Furthermore, it has been determined that the exchange of different forms of expression of messages of acceptance, which I call Common Well-being Communication, has a transformative effect on people's attitudes, behaviors, and performance, thus becoming the most effective form of communication.
