Homo Deportivus. On the relationship between philosophy and sport

This article examines the relationship between sport and philosophy, seeking to understand the concept of "Homo deportivus". The author explores how sport can be considered from a philosophical perspective, analyzing themes such as emancipation, liberating education and body-soul dualism. The spiritual legacy of athletes and the connection between political philosophy and sport are also addressed. The study highlights the importance of including philosophical perspectives in the field of sport and promotes an inclusive and open approach to both philosophy and sport.
