Abstract

The inequality that has revealed the global health crisis is evident. However, it is not a current photograph, but rather it has revealed the structural deficiencies of the global political economic system and, with it, the devastating effects on the human being in all its dimensions. The consequences of the pandemic are not homogeneous within the same society. There are sectors that have become richer and others poorer. The distances in health, well-being and dignity of individuals have increased and we are facing a crisis that this injustice continues to calcify. The human being not only has to survive but also achieve the fundamental biopsychosocial realization, both individual and collective. Therefore, it is imperative to recover the Other, the needy, within the discourse and, above all, in political action, looking at the Other as an end, and not as a means. This is the origin and must once again be the primary purpose of the internal and external policy of each government. To do this, philosophical reflection provides us with new perspectives to restructure reality, changing and improving the scales of values and our way of acting. The post-pandemic presents us with a single objective, to restore and reactivate true intersubjective relationships, rehumanizing man, that is, returning to the root of the essence of all society, which is none other than the human being himself, as an end. It will not be possible to achieve it immediately, therefore it is essential to rechannel all the political tools and institutions towards and for the well-being of man, without devastating his environment, where philosophical reflection is essential to build a new world.
