We read William of Occam's "Treatise on the Principles of Theology" and take a look at the late Scholasticism that this work represents so well, reviewing different bibliographical references, which have allowed me to know and analyze different concepts and approaches to this singular subject. In fact, this is a major work, of great caliber, but of uncertain author, generally attributed to Occam, although the actual authorship is in dispute. What is certain is that it is a culminating moment of an epoch in the history of Western thought; one in which its author, with spirited architecture, erects an edifice that perpetuates Occamist thought, commenting on it, glossing it and giving it an encyclopedic, meticulous form, such as one would expect to find in a dictionary or a manual of nascent Nominalism.
