The ethical dimension regarding the use of artificial intelligence is today an obligatory debate in various areas of knowledge. The benefits of AI in education are undeniable, however, invite educators to reflect deeply on the objectives expected to be achieved in learning, as well as the risks that this type of technology presents. A bibliographic review of the ethical aspects of education reveals the existence of various regulations that, from a humanist perspective, point to a responsible use, without losing sight of the fact that the goal is the person and his dignity. Ethics follows technological advances, because the reflection on the proper use of them does not manage to anticipate its rapid implementation. The Beijing Consensus (2019) states that AI must be at the service of education and that it is crucial to promote equitable and inclusive, transparent, and accountable utilization. Building trust must be the fundamental pillar of this ethical construction, which is why it requires school leaders and teachers to reflect on the purpose of use; appropriate training should be promoted; benefits and risks are identified and incorporated throughout the educational community.
