Submission Preparation Checklist
Before completing the submission, authors must confirm that:
- The manuscript fits the scope and subject areas of RIPIE.
- The work is original and has not been previously published.
- The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
- The submitted file complies with RIPIE’s formatting requirements.
- The manuscript is prepared for double-blind peer review and does not unnecessarily contain information identifying the authors.
- The title, abstract, and keywords are complete.
- The authorship and affiliation information for all authors has been correctly entered in OJS.
- ORCID, funding information, and conflict-of-interest declarations have been provided where applicable.
- References and citations have been checked and correspond to the sources used.
- The necessary permissions have been obtained for third-party materials.
- Where required, appropriate research ethics standards and consent procedures have been followed.
- Data, materials, and methods are reported with an appropriate level of transparency for the type of research.
- Any use of generative artificial intelligence tools that must be disclosed under the journal’s policy has been declared.
Research Articles
This section is intended for articles presenting original research results in the fields of education, pedagogy, and educational innovation. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment and, when they pass this stage, a double-blind peer review process conducted by external and independent reviewers.
Reflection Articles
This section is intended for reflection articles that develop well-founded critical, conceptual, or theoretical analyses of relevant issues in education, pedagogy, and educational innovation. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment and, when they pass this stage, a double-blind peer review process conducted by external and independent reviewers.
Review Articles
This section is intended for review articles that critically analyze, synthesize, and assess relevant academic literature on issues related to education, pedagogy, and educational innovation. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment and, when they pass this stage, a double-blind peer review process conducted by external and independent reviewers.

Authors agree that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, the economic rights in the article will be assigned free of charge to EDITIC, as the publisher of RIPIE, under the terms established in the corresponding publication agreement. Moral rights remain with the authors in accordance with applicable law.
Articles published by RIPIE are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), in accordance with its terms.
By submitting the manuscript, the author confirms that these conditions have been read and accepted as part of the submission process.

RIPIE collects and processes personal data provided by authors, reviewers, readers, and other journal users exclusively for editorial management, communication related to submission, peer review, and publication processes, and the operation of the services provided through OJS.
