The purpose of this reflection article is to invite all educational actors to enhance their reflections and learning achieved during the preventive isolation generated by COVID-19 regarding curricular flexibility. Although it was urgent during the pandemic, this invitation recognizes the need for curricular flexibility in face-to-face instruction, as a change in classroom practices is required. This invitation is to promote the implementation of curricular flexibility that incorporates the principles of prioritization, flexibility, agency, and integration, to achieve relevant content, inclusive classroom practices, interdisciplinary and collaborative work from the entire educational community. Likewise, the article suggests strengthening active pedagogies, particularly the New School Model and the Flipped Classroom methodology. Finally, the possibility of discussing the STEM+ approach is proposed as an alternative to integrate different areas through the development of projects and the analysis of contextual problem situations.
