Abstract

Nursing education has been taking advantage of the PBL method; The student is the protagonist of learning, promoting skills such as communication, problem solving and emotional control. This is supported in the practice, using mannequin-type simulators, which, although they resemble a real situation, create a bias that distances a real experience from just a simulation, providing a false interpretation of reality itself. goal: Analyze the information and evidence provided from the research of different articles in relation to artificial intelligence and augmented reality, as a tool to help reduce the bias between reality and simulation in nursing practices. Methodology, this research aims to carry out a systematic review, in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines, of the studies found in the databases PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scholar Google, within which 20 articles are included, which are closely related to the study. Results and conclusions. There is evidence of a low use of augmented reality as a tool in simulation, therefore there are several heterogeneous studies that momentarily provide the solution, without being universal or compatible with commonly used tools and software, in the same way it is evident that there are models of prototypes applied to nursing education, the implementation of these tools entails high logistical, structural, and economic costs, which is why the demand that the student requires in nursing practices is not covered.
